The OEHS maintains a complete inventory of all chemicals used at Tulane. Supervisors are required to submit an update of their chemical inventories annually. Electronic access or hard copies of MSDSs must be available in the individual work areas where the chemicals are used. In addition, a hard copy library of MSDSs are kept in both the downtown and uptown OEHS offices and in the Tulane Regional Primate Research Center (TRPRC) Library. MSDSs can be made available to employees upon request to the OEHS and are also provided on-line at the OEHS Web Page. In the event of an after-hours emergency, MSDSs can be obtained by contacting Tulane Police who will notify the OEHS on-call person.
